Spring Baseball- Christian

Christian played for the Cardinals this time around. He had a slow start with his hitting/fielding, but really lit up toward the end of the season. His coach noticed too, and nominated him for the all-star team! He didn't make the team, but was still excited to be nominated.

North Carolina May 2010

Way back in May, I had the opportunity to go visit my sister in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I also want to add that I went BY MYSELF, and Rex was so great to stay home with the boys for the weekend! I went for my sister's graduation from UNC, which was nice, and my parents were also able to be there. I had an excellent time!!

Snow!!!

It is 8:30 p.m. and has been snowing straight since 3:00 a.m.! This storm has brought over 8 inches of snow, and I just heard that this is the biggest winter storm in the history of Dallas! I'm not complaining because this snow will only last a day or two and then be gone. It has put everyone in a great, playful mood! The boys spent a few hours after school playing in the snow with their friends, making snowmen, and having snowball fights. Kyle even got out in the snow for a little while until he finally froze over and had to go back inside. After all of the fun, we came inside and had cheese sandwiches and chicken noodle soup for dinner to warm up, and topped it off with delicious hot chocolate! School has been put on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, so now we can hope and pray that it gets cancelled altogether. What a great day!
